Calendar and historical time

• Moment Timezone 0.6.0, including IANA 2025b time-zone data — MIT license. Local-date resolution checks nonexistent and repeated times explicitly.
• Historical DST adjustments: IANA 2025b via the pinned Python tzdata 2025.2 distribution, generated from IANA standard-offset eras and the bundled civil offsets. Civil offsets were independently cross-checked using Python zoneinfo. Coverage: 1900–2037; only dates through today can be submitted. tzdata license · Apache license. Day/hour pillars default to local standard time with DST removed.

Birthplace data

City names, coordinates and current IANA time-zone identifiers are adapted from GeoNames, cities15000 dataset, under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Downloaded 7 October 2026. This copy retains name, ASCII name, country code, first-level administrative code, time zone, coordinates and population, sorted by population. Chinese province names use the GeoNames first-level administrative names, checked 19 October 2026. Small settlements may not be included. City-center coordinates and present-day zone assignments have historical limits; manual correction is available.

Illustrations

The birth-entry landscape is a standalone AI-generated illustration inspired by Chinese ink painting, recreated at higher resolution for this page. It is not a historical painting or a museum reproduction.

The ten nature images are original AI-generated illustrations created for this prototype, inspired by traditional ink-and-mineral painting. They are not photographs of products or copies of the supplied reference posters.

The Five Elements cycle artwork is the approved AI-generated watercolor composition for this site, with stylized mythic-animal motifs. It is an interpretive illustration, not a reproduction of a historical artifact.

Chinese calligraphy

The Chinese calligraphic heading uses Ma Shan Zheng, by the Ma Shan Zheng Project Authors, distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. A locally hosted subset covers 五行相生 for the brand. Font project.

The birth-form characters 始启 use locally hosted Noto Serif SC under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, to keep their appearance consistent across browsers. The archived LXGW WenKai TC subset, by the LXGW WenKai Project Authors, is supplied under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, hosted locally as a two-character subset. Font project.

Scope of this release

Four Pillars are evaluated under explicit clock and day-boundary conventions. This release does not calculate true/apparent solar time, cycle start ages, FPDS star ratings, useful elements or property-specific Feng Shui. Element counts are descriptive and must not be treated as balancing instructions. Nature imagery and self-selected practices are for cultural reflection, not scientifically validated predictions.
